March 15th to April 14th Western Australia and Melbourne;
Another trip completed, and I didn't even write about it. Life's gone quite fast.
In Western Australia, we visited Brian's brother John and wife Jan. They live in a nice town Rockingham. Very nice town and lovely waterfront. The beaches are beyong beautiful, crystal clear water, sandy ocean floor, and safe swimming. Cafe's right there. I could live in that town. Where John and Jan live, the Kangaroos come out at night and just graze on people's lawns. They live on the edge of the bush and this happens every night.
After spending time with them, we explored the area with their borrowed car . We went down to Busselton, Rotnest island, and visited friends from way back, Sue Leafe and Julie and Trevor Smith.
Then we drove on to Margaret River and further to War Pole, where there was a " top of the tree walk" , also Yalungup and the beaches there and Leeuwin Natural Park was beautiful.
We also took the train to Perth and checked out the city and we came back again, took the train from Perth to Kalgoorlie, to see the open pit mine there. Stayed 1 night and went back to Rockingham.
We visited the city of Mandurah and really liked that city.
