The time does fly. Here an other update.
In one month and 15 days I am going to Europe.
Fist of all, I am going to Hong Kong to see my son in ShenZhen, China( one hour from HongKong) and then travel on to the Netherlands to spend time with my son, Daughter-in-law and granddaughter.

But just to recap of what we have been doing lately, we have been to the Wairarapa with the Camper-van, it was a great 10 days trip. Saw some amazing places and highlights were : Napier Aquarium, and Castle-point light house and Cape Palliser. ( the very south tip of the North island)
Felt very isolated there, and a long way from everywhere.

We stayed in Lake Ferry one night and then carried on to the light house and after that we went to Featherstone and stayed at lake Wairarapa.

The drove over the Rimutaka's to Upper Hutt and then to Waikanae and to Foxton where we saw the Dutch windmill.
After that we stayed one night at a nice campground near Foxton but further up, and then drove home from there via Taupo. On the way I swam in lake Taupo. It was beautiful.

After our trip I got Corneel Muus from " as seen through horses er's" Facebook page stay with us for 10 days and during that time I took her around on our horses, 4 horse treks, first our own area, forest, and top of the hill and Connelly lane ( David Hall's place ( or Kevin's) orchard sold, couldn't ride there.
second ride" Tuapiro beach" and then Waihi Beach and lastly 2 hours at Noble's farm . All of them great rides.

Then I took Corneel to Hahei, we both booked a cabin at " Hahei holiday resort" for 2 nights. On the Tuesday Corneel was going on the " Stray " Bus, a touring bus ( hop on and off) takes you through the whole of NZ.

I drove back that day. Just in time as a bad thunderstorm hit after I got home. So it was a busy 10 days. We had a good time together and got on well.
Now during my 2nd week of being in the Netherlands,  I am doing " the rounds of visiting family and friends, and I am also visiting Corneel and stay with her for 3 nights. She is going to show me " Kampen" the old city where she lives. She is also going to show me her horse " Dainty" and maybe even ride her a bit. And she is also going to take me to " Giethoorn" , a famous little country town that is a bit like " Venice" with canals and little boats.
In those 10 days I am also visiting my hometown of Voorschoten, and stay there for 2 nights and then go to Scheveningen to visit my aunt , who is 99 years old.( she had married my Dad's brother). I'm also visiting my first ever brother-in-law( not now) but he means a lot to me and I feel like he is real family. We went there in 2016 and it was great. Also to visit is my primary school friend, Tineke, whom I was friends with since age 4 .
Of course, my main reason is to spend time with my granddaughter, Violet, and that will be great too.
from 12th of June till 25th of July I am in the Netherlands, except for one week when I am in the South of France to visit my brother.( Cannes)
On the 25th of July I fly to TelAviv and spend 3 weeks in Israel. I will visit the people that we hosted here and basically a circle from TelAviv, Haifa, Tiberias, Ein Harod( Kibbutz for 5 days) and Jerusalem for 1 week. Then I fly back to NZ from TelAviv via HongKong. Back home on the 16th of August.
