My Baptism in the Jordan river.

Hi readers,
Some of you might frown upon this, others do not.
Yes, I was baptised as a 14 year old, but this time it was different. This time I had the opportunity to be baptised in the Jordan river in Israel. I felt this time it was something really between me and God.
So there was the opportunity. There was no one that was around to baptise me so I went under water myself.
I felt great afterwards. This is a personal thing so don't attack me for this. I really feel that time time I meant it more than when I was 14. I think then I did it more to please my parents.
It doesn't matter really if you are baptised in the sea, or in a church baptismal pool, or in your local river, what matters is that it is something you do between God and you. It is a symbolic of being buried with Christ and coming up out of the water is the symbolic of being resurrected with Christ.
I had a witness and that was Margie, who took the photos and the video.
Other people watched from a distance.
I don't know why there were so few people around, maybe because it was a Sunday morning?
Anyway, I am glad I did. And I will never forget it.
