Hi there,
Yes there are things I forgot to mention, during my visit to Israel.
That is that after I got my car in Haifa, I then drove to Arbel village where I stayed in the Shavit family guest house and did a horse trek on the following day. That's recorded. After the 2 nights there I drove to Tiberias and drove to Restal hotel in the city. the GPS led me there. It was a nice hotel with a swimming pool. I stayed there one night.

I walked to the waterfront and saw some shops and a market and went into a shopping mall. The next day I drove around to see more Christian sites, I drove to Ginosar see the 2000 year old boat,

to Tagba (where Jesus fed the multitudes with 5 loaves and 5 fish), Magdala and Caphernaum and visited the Mount of Beatitudes but it was closed.
I also went to visit a friend from the church, Cheryl Burlow,( kiwi's) and her husband,( he was at work as a tour guide)) they live in a small hamlet called Livnim. You can only get there by car, so I was glad I had a car. It was going up and up in the hills and then I found it. A nice place overlooking the Sea of Galilee( or the Kinneret, as the locals call the lake) I had a great chat with this lady and some lunch with her too. The house is spacious and they run a B&B there too. ( see photos at the bottom of this page)

I had noticed lots of excavations on each site I visited. So there is lots of proof that Israel is in her homeland from very long times ago. And it also proves the bible to be true.
After I had visited those places it was time for me to go to the Kibbutz, which was about an hour drive. I put in Afula in the GPS because my phone had been heating up so much that the GPS would switch itself off, and I can't have that when you are reluying on directions. I also kept the phone in front of the airco so it would cool down, that helped a bit. I really needed a clip for the phone to stick into the aircon but I didn't know there even was such a thing. I went to Afula to the Budget car rental to see if they had a GPS that wouldn't heat up. I got there and no, they didn't have any spare GPS's at all. So I had to do with the phone. On straight stretches of road I would hold my phone over the aircon and then leave it there for a few minutes and then stick it back on the magnet that was attached to the inside window .
When I got to the Kibbutz, I got to the little supermarket and rang Ben up to say I had arrived. He came a bit later and I followed him to " my unit". Funny thing is, a few days later, after I had visited Gan Hashlosha, a piece of paradise, like an Oasis.
I arrived at the wrong kibbutz and got lost. ( there are 2 kibbutzes) So I had to ring Margie to come and rescue me. LOL. The GPS thing got sorted, Ben loaned me his phone holder that clips on to the aircon. So when I left I had my phone on that and it went without a problem all the way to Jerusalem, in the heart of Jerusalem. So glad the GPS worked and didn't heat up.
