off to Jerusalem

Wow! Now I had to make a decision to drive to Jerusalem, or to drop the car off in Afula.
If I dropped the car off in Afula, that meant only a 20 min drive from here but a 2 hour drive in the bus( and possibly no toilet stop or one in the beginning) If I drove to Jerusalem I had to drop the car off in the middle of the city. ( but I could choose my own toilet stops)
After tossing and turning about it, and getting panic attacks, I decided to drive to Jerusalem and then I had a peace about it.
I have " Waze" on my phone, it's an excellent app, better than google maps with great GPS directions, turn by turn voice directions, and she even tells us" hazard ahead- car stopped" or " speed camera ahead" or " police ahead" so you know what's coming. Also traffic congestion she said.
I drove over the motorway route 6, a brand new 4 lane motorway to Jerusalem.
I did exactly what " Waze" told me and before I realised it I was in front of the office of the " Budget car rental" in Kind David Street.
Wow, and all went without a hitch. Not a scratch on the car, and I give God the glory because lots of people, specially Ruth, brian and my kids prayed for me and for safety.
I had a whole week here in Jerusalem and have planned 3 tours.
One is the Mount of Olive tour. The other was the Shabbat experience and the other was a 9 hour day trip called" Bethlehem and Jericho tour".
I have so many photos that I cannot place all here.  Jericho was a highlight, to have been in the oldest city on earth, meaning 10.000 years old.
And to see some of the excavated sites and wall of the old walls that came tumbling down under Joshua.
Also been in the cave where Jesus was born in Bethlehem and saw the field where the Shepherds heard the news about the birth of the Saviour.

I spent quite a lot of time in the old city at the protestant church " Christ Church" . This is an Anglican church that Derek Prince used to belong to when he lived there. I had coffee in their courtyard and met a Finnish lady in the bookshop next door. She knew Sirkku Saba who is also in my friend list. We spent time together at an other time and prayed together for Michael.
I went to the cafe of the Christ church almost every time I came to the old city. I got to know " Grace" a lady from the UK who was a volunteer there. And had lunch there one day. Felt at home as they played Christian music and it felt safe there.
